The title says it all! First, Cassidy turned the big "5" on Friday. We hit the doctor and pic appointments to celebrate the day. She weighs 42.2 lbs (70%) and is 43 1/4" tall (75%), so she's height/weight proportionate. She spent the rest of the day at my parents'. Poor baby got her first bee sting! She was helping Nana clean out leaves from the pool, went to get one, and the darn thing was actually a bee! Thankfully, she did not have an allergic reaction!
Friday Night/Saturday, my friend Courtney and I went to Women of Faith. We had so much fun! If you've never been, you need to try to go! It's so refreshing to be in an arena full of women, being able to laugh, cry, and share those feelings that your husband just won't deal with! :) It's also really fun to see nearly all of the men's restrooms converted to women's restrooms!
Sunday after church, we did lunch at On the Border with family.
Then on Monday, Cassidy started Kindergarten! I was crying...and bawling...and trying to keep busy. Cassidy loved it! They sent home the list of sight words for the year...she can read all but 4, and those she'll get quickly! We're going to see which ones she knows how to write by memory and work on those that she doesn't.
